He is introduced when Lauren brings him to her family thanksgiving dinner. His relationship with Lauren is shown to be very abusive, as he subtly insults her and acts rudely, causing April to kick him out. At one point he strikes Lauren. Later he is kidnapped by Forman. John is given the option to kill him, but refuses. After John rescues the girls, he attempts to help Curt, but he (Curt) is very hostile, holding Forman's gun to John, he knocks John out and later is taken into police custody
